ARDAN HUSSAIN

Ardan Hussain completed his dance training from 1993 to 1996 at the Folkwang Hochschule der Künste Essen. From 1996 to 2001, he worked as a dancer in various independent productions, including those with Henrietta Horn and Mark Sieczkarek. He was a dancer at the Folkwang Tanzstudio and a soloist at the Tanztheater der Städtischen Bühnen Münster and at the Bremer Tanztheater. Subsequently, he was engaged by Daniel Goldin for the Tanztheater der Städtischen Bühnen Münster, where he worked until 2003. In the same year, he co-founded the Compagnie Manuel Quero with choreographer Manuel Quero. In the 2004/05 season, he became the organizational director of the dance theater at the Staatstheater Kassel for two years, before returning for six years as managing director and dramaturge to the Tanztheater der Städtischen Bühnen Münster, where he also regularly performed as a dancer. Today, he lives and works as a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator in Vienna. Ardan has been working with Saskia Hölbling since 2016.
